Weight Watcher Update

Today is weigh in day!

Last week I didn’t even post the results of my weigh in because I was just frustrated and had gained .6lbs.

This week I lost 2.2lbs!!!

My problem was that I wasn’t eating all of my allotted points.  Also I wasn’t snacking.  I think I was getting too hungry at meal times so my metabolism was going into starvation mode because I was SO hungry!  This last week I have found some really great snacks and that has helped a lot. Here are a few examples of what I’ve been snacking on.

WW String Cheese
Wasa Bread
Strawberries
WhoNu cookies 
World Table Lemon Cookies

What healthy snacks are you snacking on??

Those crackers look yummy!

Last night I made a spread of cream cheese mixed with diced up grape tomatoes, with some shredded broccoli florets. I spread that over some low fat high grain and fiber crackers. J and I both chowed down on those! I've been trying to figure out ways to get more green into our diets and this was was just delicious!

I'm planning on cooking up some organic ground beef tonight, add in some chopped tomatoes, whole grain elbow macaroni, and some spices. Maybe serve with butter beans or boil some spinach. If she doesn't like the spinach, I'll mix it with cream cheese (I love that stuff!) and serve on whole wheat toast bread or some veggie tortillas.

Those lemon cookies look delicious!

I like to snack on pretzels and hummus. Hummus is REALLY good for you - all natural and tons of protein, but you'll have to check WW points on it. But it'll really fill you up!

I'm always so proud of you!! I'm def not eating anything healthy, so I can't really offer any tips there, but I'm learning a lot from you if that makes ya feel any better!!
