Weight Loss Update

I would love to post that I’ve lost a ton of weight since my last update about dieting.  But that’s not true right now.  I’m still sticking with weight watchers and I have lost a few more pounds (except this week where I gained .8 from birthday celebrations).

Of course I love watching the Biggest Loser as I do every season. This season the theme is No Excuses.  Well my biggest excuse for pretty much anything is “I don’t have time”.  I really feel like it’s true because I feel like I just don’t have any time to do anything other than my normal schedule.

I’m coming to realize though that I really do have time I just don’t want to use my time to do things that are hard or require me to rearrange my schedule.  I need to learn how to better utilize the time that I have. Well this week I’m going to try to start changing this.

My goals:

  • Make a cleaning schedule for my house.  This way I’m not trying to do a bunch of things at one time.  I will have small things to do throughout the week and can better utilize free time on the weekends.
  • Use my crock pot once every week so that this will be at least one night I can do a long workout.  The only thing I know how to make in my crock pot right now is roast.  Any recipe ideas??
  • I’m going to find a quick workout that I can break up and do throughout the day at work. (Squats, lunges, etc).

My other big excuse is not tracking my food because … I don’t have time (see a pattern here?).  So I’m making it a requirement to track BEFORE I eat.  No track = no eat! I have a BIG goal for next week:

I’m going to lose 5lbs!! Yep! Gonna do it!! :)

Good luck! You can do it!
I have the same problem....it's not about "finding the time", it's about making the exercise a priority so that time is not a factor. If I ever get to the point where I can view fitness on the same level of importance as my salaried job, I will be soooooo healthy. :)
Keep it up- you'll get to your goals!

You can do it!!! I know how you feel about never having time to add anything else to your schedule. It's hard, but somehow you can always find a way if you really look at what you're doing.

When the alarm goes off in the morning, Cory lays in bed for 30 minutes before getting up. Totally usable time in the day, but you don't think about it. I know you'll find a place for it to fit!

I use the crock pot at LEAST once a week. I have a cookbook called 6 Ingredients or Less: Crock Pot Edition and I love it!

well I know for sure you can do it-- I'm such a slacker right now-- I really need the motivation-- perhaps wearing shorts might push me to do something.... there's just never enough time!! I'm supportin' ya!! :)

I'm impressed by people who can keep track of what they eat. It's hard! Unless you eat pre-packaged food which isn't all that good for you.
