What I’ve Been Up To Last Month

Since I haven’t had time to type out a coherent blog post lately here’s a quick list of what’s been going on in my life!

~*~ WORK WORK WORK.  Work of course is crazy now that it’s just me again do 99% of the heavy tasks.  Also, our part time girl gave her notice this past Monday.  We knew she would be leaving in the fall to start college but she has decided to take a summer job doing something else.  Hopefully someone great will fall in our laps in the next week or so to at least replace her because I sure don’t have time for filing and cleaning toilets! :)

~*~ Along with normal work I’ve also been completing my continuing education classes for my insurance license.  We are required to complete 30 hours of classes every 2 years.  Well I’m cramming that 30 hours in to two weeks because I put it off and it has to be done by this Friday! EEK! Luckily it’s all online and relatively easy … just time consuming.

~*~ We have watched movies: Avengers (AWESOME), Dark Shadows (Loved it!), and Snow White & The Huntsman (Love the Huntsman!)

~*~ I finally read the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy … twice … in the past 9 days. I think I’ll make a whole blog post about this topic soon. I loved these books and find myself laughing at all the controversy.

~*~ Adam and I will both be on vacation for a whole week the first week of July! This hasn’t happened since 2005!! I have zero idea what our plans will be but it will be FUN!

~*~ We are in the process of buying our home.  Our home is currently in my in-laws name and we are in application status of our very first mortgage so that it will be in our name! I’m SO VERY excited about this!!

~*~ We paid off our last 3 credit cards.  We are officially credit card debt free!!!!!!!!

Great job on being debt free!! That's amazing!

It's so awesome being home owners. I'm sure for you guys it's a little different since you already live there, but overall it will be so nice to know that it's YOURS.

Wow...you've had a lot going on!!! I hope you find a nice place to go for vacation b/c it sounds like you could use the break! :o)

I read that trilogy and hated it. If it weren't for the fact that I can't leave anything unfinished, I would have quit reading after the first book. :o) To each his own, I guess!
