I’m so glad that it’s finally Friday! Tomorrow is my first actual Thirty-One Party!! I’m excited but kind of bummed about it all at the same time. I just can’t get any responses from people about whether or not they are coming. It’s a come and go Open House so I figured more people would be inclined to stop by within our time frame rather than coming to a party that lasts a couple of hours.
Why do people not reply to emails, texts, FB messages, or phone calls anymore? Is it just me? Some days I feel very invisible!

OK enough of the pity party. I have a busy weekend ahead. Tonight I’m getting things ready for tomorrow and baking cookies. Last night I whipped up a batch of homemade cookie dough to be baked tonight …
That is a large butter tub full of cookie dough. I’m trying very hard to stay out of it and leave it in the freezer until baking time. Cookie dough is my weakness!
Sunday I’m going to a baby shower for a friend. Unfortunately her gift that I have for her will not arrive until Tuesday. Dang you delayed shipping!!
I don’t think Adam is fully aware of the fact that I will barely be home this weekend. Normally the weekend is OUR time and we try to do everything together. Hopefully he will find something to do that is fun and won’t be too upset with me.
What are your plans for the weekend? I hope they are great and the weather is nice where you are! Ours will be rainy but very cool. Come on Fall! ;)
