Blog Angels ~ Final Thoughts

October is coming to a close today and I get to tell you about my Blog Angel experience.  I signed up in September for the first time not really knowing what to expect.  I soon received the name of the person I would be helping: Aimee from Aimee’s World.  It was very cool to be sneaky and try to help out in any way that I could without her figuring out who I was.  I LOVE to be sneaky. ;)

Well half way through I received an email from the host about how several people had dropped out.  I quickly volunteered to help out in any way that I could and I was so excited to receive a second person to be a blog angel for.  That is Malo from Life Feels Good In Portbail Beach.

Right after I was assigned my second person we got to post our reveal.  I’m so glad that we were able to reveal who we were helping because as fun as being sneaky is it’s hard to REALLY help without having some feedback.

From the beginning I’ve been commenting on Aimee’s blog as much as possible, sharing her giveaway that she was involved in, recommending her blog to my friends and just trying to be interactive.  After the reveal I was able to email back and forth with her and really get to know her a lot more.  Then I was able to give her shout outs on twitter and be more open with my helping. She’s a fun sweet girl that I wish GREAT things for!! I feel I’ve made a bloggy friend for life. :)

I’ve been doing the same for Malo after the reveal and trying to comment, share on twitter, and interact as much as possible. 

I hope that I helped out each of these ladies in a way that made a difference in their blogging lives.  I have discovered that this is something I REALLY want to be more involved in.  I love the idea of helping someone else out without expecting anything in return.

My blog angel was Amy from The Charming. I’ve loved getting to know her some through comments on my blog as well as conversations in my Let’s Get Fit group. :)
