One Of Those Weeks

This has been one of those weeks were I feel like nothing productive is being accomplished but it has still been a great week!  This past weekend we had a friend come in from out of town.  It was great to hang out in the shop with the guys while they worked on 4-wheelers, motorcycles, etc.  Definitely reminded me of when I was younger and Adam and I were dating.  Adam got his 4-wheeler running so we rode all over the place Saturday.  To me there is nothing better than a cold evening, riding a 4-wheeler, and get a little muddy.  Now I’m really wishing we would have thought to have a bonfire.  It’s just not fall without a great bonfire.

Sunday when we went to see our normal weekly movie I finally got to pick up my Breaking Dawn tickets that I had reserved on Fandango last week!! Yay!!!  This year we decided to forgo the 7 hours waiting in line and just buy the Marathon tickets.  This way we can show up at whatever time we want and still get a good seat.  Also, those that have Marathon tickets get to see the new movie at 10pm rather than midnight.  This means I may actually be in my bed before 1am.  All that is worth the extra price of a marathon ticket.

Tuesday we had a luncheon put on by our District Office here at work to celebrate us CSRs.  CSR is my licensed title – Customer Service Representative.  I was particularly excited about this luncheon because I won CSR of the month in September and I was going to get my trophy!  This was the first time EVER that I have won so it was a pretty big deal for me.  I also ended up getting coerced into being the guest speaker at the luncheon.  I don’t do public speaking. Ever.  But it wasn’t so bad I guess.  At least it was on a topic I know really well. :)
CSR of The Month Sept 2012

This evening me and all the ladies from my office will be attending a dinner at a local auto body shop for an Insurance Agents Appreciation Night.  We get to bring our spouses but unfortunately I will be dateless.  Adam has to go in early tomorrow. Boo! It will still be a lot of fun though with our crowd.  Hopefully I will win a great door prize!! Fingers Crossed!
