Adam and I have been looking forward to this weekend for a while because we finally got to see the movie Identity Thief (It’s THEIF not THEFT … let’s get it right). ;)
In case you have been living under a rock and haven’t seen one of the 5 million trailers on TV let me give you the run down of what this movie is all about. There is a guy name Sandy Patterson that is living the normal American life in Denver Colorado. He has a wife, 2 kids, a baby one the way and a job that barely gets the bills paid. Suddenly his world is turned upside down when he gets arrested for missing a court date for a felony arrest in FL. He learns that his identity has been stolen by a harmless looking lady in Florida. He is on the verge of losing a great new job so he makes a deal with his new boss. He will go down to FL and bring this imposter to CO for the police to arrest and he will get to keep his job.
He soon discovers that the other Sandy Patterson has no intention of coming quietly. She has been living a fun life on his credit cards and doesn’t want to give that up. He does finally convince her to come back to CO with the story of just talking to his boss and not the policy. Their journey then takes many hilarious twists and turns.
One of my favorite parts:
I loved that all the funny parts of this movie weren’t just what was in the trailer. There were several other hilarious parts that had me laughing so hard I was in tears! Also I loved that it wasn’t just a comedy with no store line. It had a great story and I just loved the ending. Great date movie for Valentines!!
This is a must see if you are fan of good comedy movies! Just be aware that is rated R so watch without the kiddos. :)

I have always liked Jason Bateman and that chick was hilarious in Bridesmaids, so I could totally see how this would be a great comedy.
This looked like SUCH a great movie in the previews I saw, sounds like it's a must-see! :)
